It's great literature and it's great parts, all four of them are really wonderful, extraordinary individual roles. It's very hard to pass up a part like Clare Quilty.

I think he's Humbert without a conscience, Humbert without any sense of soul or without any sense of consequence. He's a totally decadent, hedonistic, selfish and ultimately sad creature.
